Our NOC will be upgrading the network infrastructure at our Samrand Data Centre to increase the flexibility and capacity of the network, while simplifying maintenance and improving redundancy.
What will the upgrade entail? Once complete, the entire network fabric will be replaced with the latest Juniper network devices. The upgrade will include new architecture (spine and leaf), EVPN (Ethernet VPN) and VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN).
Impact: All existing Johannesburg Virtual Servers will temporarily be offline during the maintenance window.
It should be noted that while the maintenance window is scheduled for four hours, the actual expected downtime may vary.
Action required: As network connectivity may be affected, we will halt all server deployment during the maintenance window to avoid data corruption.
